Energy Sector Upgrades NuclearIQ Software to Version 220.127.116.11
GCR unveils the newest version of its popular NuclearIQ software on May 30th. This release creates efficiencies important to our clients, as user feedback was the driving force behind our development process. We’re profiling five main enhancements leading up to the release, the fourth of which is the implementation of the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test.
K-S Test for Normal Distribution
In statistics, the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test (K–S test) is a nonparametric test of the equality of continuous, one-dimensional probability distributions that can be used to compare a sample with a reference probability distribution. Pretty fancy wording for “is the data set Normally Distributed?” Based on feedback from our current users, we’ve incorporated the K-S Test into our “Generate QC Limits” and “Statistical Test” routines. In Version 18.104.22.168, you’ll know at the click of a button if the data set passed the K-S test.
