Mr. Cataline manages urban planning projects and specializes in housing, community development, neighborhood planning, and community revitalization strategies. He has seven years of professional and academic experience in urban planning and housing, including local, state and federal housing policy and neighborhood planning projects.
Mr. Cataline synthesizes complex policy and regulatory issues into understandable, user-friendly communications and creates action-oriented goals and deliverables. He has extensive community engagement experience using an array of techniques including workshop facilitation, leadership development, participatory mapping and public speaking. He has built and managed state and regional coalitions and provided technical assistance to nonprofit, government and private sector clients.
Nathan has organized state-wide community engagement processes in nine cities across Louisiana, crafted a curriculum for statewide education on sustainable communities planning in California, and piloted a resident led city-wide vacant property assessment of the City of Detroit.
