Ms. Duncan is a project manager who specializes in post-disaster community recovery and resilience-building programming and policy development. Specifically, she’s consulted city and local government officials in Springfield, MA, Norfolk, VA, Jefferson Parish, LA, St. Tammany Parish, LA and New Orleans, LA, as well as the states of California and New York, respectively. In New York, she worked as a close collaborator in the development of NY Rising, the state’s comprehensive strategy to rebuild communities ravaged by Superstorm Sandy in 2013. Prior to her work at GCR Inc., Adrienne worked at the Louisiana Recovery Authority and the State of Louisiana, Office of Community Development-Disaster Recovery Unit as a key contributor managing a wide range of federally funded housing recovery programs as well as serving as a liaison to the Louisiana Land Trust, which manages the state’s real estate portfolio acquired through the post-Hurricane Katrina Road Home Program. Adrienne holds a B.A. in history from Louisiana State University.
